From the tender years of my existence, I've been entranced by the enchanting allure of illustrated books. This enchantment continues to infuse my creative expression, as the stories that found their place in my heart during childhood remain a constant source of inspiration. The joy of revisiting these cherished tales is a privilege I hold dear.

My creative ardor flourishes across a spectrum of artistic forms, yet my truest passion resides within the realm of narrative illustration—a medium that bridges generations and speaks to diverse audiences. Mental health, a subject of profound significance, has consistently informed my artistic pursuits. My genuine fascination with psychology finds its voice through my art, where symbolism and creativity intertwine to convey my perception of the world and the emotions that color it.

During the pursuit of my Master's in Illustration, an exciting chapter unfolded as I discovered the realm of Artists' Books. This avenue allowed me to indulge my love for crafting handmade marvels, nurturing both my technical expertise and my conceptual approach to self-expression. This journey illuminated the profound potential embedded within the physicality of a book—an extension of the narrative it holds, a dialogue between creator and recipient.

 

To me, art is not solely about the end result; it's a journey that encompasses the formulation of ideas, the search for materials, the creative process, the final creation, and the continuous refinement and development that follows each completed piece. All of these elements come together to define what art means to me.

I value imperfections in life, including the tough times. What I find most rewarding in creating art is the ability to transform these imperfections and challenges into sources of inspiration and beauty. They become the treasures that enrich my creative journey.
